The first iteration of dry-point etched painted print pigeons occurred with a carrier pigeon exhibition that was sent to 25 individuals via Australia Post. Directions to Keep, Send on or Return to Sender were enclosed. Printed pigeons with messages of love, truth and regret scrolled into Post tubes in January 2019.
December 2019 saw a small exhibition of pigeons and truths with a viewing of pigeons prints that never left, in a loftlike space.
This flight of pigeons with a singular base matrix image are all themselves, finished with ink as a painted monoprint, as no pigeon is alike.
The blue pigeons were traditionally printed in a petite edition of 10.

Design Eye Creative Paper on Skin, Burnie Tasmania 2020 shortlist, Esther the Paper dress, zooblast makes an immortal jellyfish to wear.
Hand knitted on 4mm bamboo double pointed needles, this Haori jacket constructed from 115 triangle motifs has used close to 1000 metres of white paper string.
The 11Ogsm drafting trace films were hand cut into circles and folded into triangles, glued to then form the Esther wrap around dress.

'The Esther Dress' Inspired by the immortal jellyfish, the dress floats through space, utilising the ethereal translucency of trace paper - the jacket and coral-patterned accessories are crocheted from paper string.
Design Eye Creative 'paper on skin' is a biennial wearable paper art competition, gala event and exhibition held in Burnie, Tasmania, Australia.
In 2020 we added a filmed version. The entire film, 'Design Eye Creative paper on skin 2020 - The Film', showcases 31 entries from 7 countries.
